Recently, I have had many inquiries about properties on the Big Island (Hawaii Island) and Kauai. These islands are traditionally less crowded and more affordable than Oahu. Judy Sobin and Associates can now research any property on these islands for our clients. We have joined Hawaii Information Services, the MLS listing service for the Big Island and Kauai.
We have also begun to have some productive and fun times visiting neighbor island properties. Here I am with my clients enjoying a bit of free time at Magic Sands Beach in Kona! We are in escrow on a large and lovely legal vacation rental property just across the street from this popular beach. The water is clear and refreshing, and we were visited by two small turtles swimming around us.

Marriage Officiant | Another Fun Hobby
We have all had a good amount of “down” time in 2020 and have had to come up with some creative activities to fill that time. We have also come up with some great solutions to meet unexpected challenges.
When my daughter had to postpone a Las Vegas destination wedding due to pandemic restrictions, she rescheduled for a closer destination…Kauai. Travel restrictions had not yet been put in place for Kauai. We knew many folks on Oahu who could perform the marriage ceremony, but none on Kauai. Our resolution was for Mom (that’s me!) to look into becoming a marriage officiant. It was surprisingly easy! And thus, I had the privilege of marrying Emma Lime and Jesse Yoshino.
