3 Ways To Prepare for Multigenerational Living

In Hawaii, we often share our homes.

Many of us are committed to taking care of family members who need physical assistance, those who are trying to save money to purchase their own home and those who may just need a roof over their heads.

Here are some ways to prepare:

  1. Start on the same page. Here are some of the questions to ask: Which spaces are shared? Which are private? How will household chores be divided?
  2. Check in regularly with housemates.
  3. Come up with an end game. Is this a temporary or permanent arrangement?

Green…Green…Green… Award

I have been awarded the National Association of REALTORS®’ [NAR’s] Green Designation, the only green real estate professional designation recognized by NAR.

Now, I have a better understanding of what makes a property green, helping clients evaluate the cost/benefits of resource-efficient features and practices, distinguishing between industry rating and classification systems, listing and marketing green homes and buildings, discussing the financial grants and incentives available to homeowners, and understanding how buyer and seller preferences may be inspired by resource-efficiency.

As always, I love to hear from you! Please don’t hesitate to call!

Thank you,

Judy
